They say actions speak louder than words, but today I am going to try and convince you or whoever is prepared to listen to me through my written words as to why it is worth your time to have faith in Jesus.

I am going to start off with the obvious. Who in your life will be willing to die for you so that you can have a proper chance at living? I am not just talking about who will be willing and says so, but when it comes to the actual deed they will probably think twice. I am sure you might have a hard time finding that one person.

Now, to bring in a twist, who would have done that for you before you even knew that person. Someone you might not have known and you might even not even accept that person as being a part of your life. Someone to whom you can give nothing in return. Where will you find that person who will die for you? Someone who loves you and for whom you will never have the same affection in return.

Jesus is that Someone.

Even though He died for you so that you can have a chance at living before you knew Him, He will never force you to accept His offer for eternity. He is gentle, loving and caring and will wait for you, even though you might continue to put His offer aside. But the day wil come, for all of us, where we will no longer be able to set Him aside, even if it comes at your last breath. Then remember this, He chose you first, you should just accept Him.

Another reason to consider Him is that we go our whole lives trying to find acceptance, which is the at the core of every human being. We all want to be loved and accepted, but what we do not realise is that we do not have to earn it, we already have it.

Jesus died for you while you were a sinner, before you chose to align your life with His purpose. Before you took your first breath, He accepted you and did the unthinkable for you, He gave you His life. So you do not need to go and search for your acceptance with anyone as you already have it. Do you accept it?

We all want to feel wanted and important to someone else. Well, you already have that as well in Jesus. He holds you in such high esteem, He has placed everything on earth under your authority. He thinks about you all day long. We even have difficulty thinking about our loved ones every minute of every day as the cares of life often steal our attention away. But with Jesus it is different. He never takes His mind off you, your name is written in the palm of His hand and He thinks about you the entire time, even when you do not consider Him.

He loves you unconditionally.

Now, my reasons for considering Jesus go on and on, but if the few I gave you above do not trigger any strings of your heart, my words will not be the channel through which you may consider Jesus.

But I would still like to ask you, why do you not accept Jesus?
