Have you ever found yourself in a mess and felt a little hopeless?  Maybe your mess was your own doing. Maybe not. You may even have felt unworthy of God’s goodness. Are you stuck in your mess and cannot see any message of hope hidden inside of it?
I want to remind you that even in your deepest mess, you always have hope. And that hope sits inside of you in the very essence of who you are. 
God has made you in His image (Genesis 1:26).
He made you perfect in His eyes. He made you so full of potential that nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37). He made you complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).
No matter how dark the place is you find yourself in, when you involve Jesus, nothing is impossible for Him. He can bring you out and lift you higher than ever before. 
I have found myself in my own mess of motherhood where my tone of conversation with my children consists of shouting that leaves me buried in shame and guilt and yet in the midst of all that Jesus comes and reminds me, I am still the righteousness of God in Christ. I do not have to be a perfect mother to qualify as righteous. I am righteous in spite of my mistakes and because of Jesus. 
If you are facing an insecurity, a challenge at work, or somebody that’s making life so difficult you dread going to work every day. Instead of being hesitant to face the situation, God reminds you that He has good plans for you and His favour surround you as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). He opens doors that no one can close and no matter what other people say about you, God says, “You are enough”. God doesn’t measure you according to your actions and your performances and what you do right and what you do wrong.
Every morning you start off being enough.
You are His loving daughter or son and nothing you do can disqualify you before Him. Nothing. 
Maybe there’s a loved one that just cannot seem to approve of who you are or what you do. They always find fault and no matter how hard you try to accommodate them, it just doesn’t seem to work. God is saying: “You are enough. I have made you who you are. I have equipped you with everything I need from you. Don’t limit yourself by the acceptance and opinions of people that changes every day.”
The world may turn their backs on you because of your mess, but Jesus comes before you and say to you: “This is what I came for. Let me use your little and multiply it. You are enough. You are worthy.”
Do not hide behind your mess. There’s healing behind your mess. There is restoration behind your mess. There is revelation behind your mess. 
Jesus can turn your mess into a message because your mess does not define you, He does.
Let’s stop shying away from our messes and even labelling ourselves according to them. Rather give your mess to God and allow Him to turn your mess into a message that may inspire others and give God an opportunity to bless somebody else.
